AACN’s Purpose and Vision
Over the past few months our leadership felt that we needed to revise and make our purpose statement more clear and simpler. After much prayer, consultation, and input from Elders, staff, and congregation, we felt this summarizes what we as a church are about:
Our Purpose is simple:

What does that mean? –
At Airdrie Alliance Church Network, we are about:
Living like Jesus – discovering the truth and freedom there is in Jesus. He invites us to enter into a relationship with him and to live a life as he lived, full of grace and truth. It is about exploring and engaging our own Discipleship
Growing together –this is about loving people and developing deep relationships which is essential to discovering what it means to live like Jesus. As we engage with other people in a Campus and in small groups, we will connect, care and celebrate life together in God
Serving His Kingdom – Life is more than what we can get out of it; It is about making a difference for others in this world. Jesus lived a life of Kingdom service. As we discover who he created us to be, we will be fulfilled and come alive with His joy as we use our gifts and talents to bring the Gospel of Christ into our world. This involves compassion, reaching out, and being in redemptive relationships with others
Vision Prayer of the Alliance Churches of Canada
O God, with all our hearts we long to be a movement of churches transformed by Christ, transforming Canada and the world. By your grace and for your glory, renew and empower us through a fresh encounter with yourself. Release us to be strategic in service, kingdom-connected in practice, passionate in pursuit of your mission and mercy; Use us to fulfill your purpose for Canada and the world. Amen!
